Cabaret, with a book by Joe Masteroff, music by John Kander, and lyrics by Fred Ebb, is a landmark musical set in 1931 Berlin, exploring the decadent nightlife at the Kit Kat Klub as the Nazis rise to power. It follows American writer Cliff Bradshaw and English cabaret singer Sally Bowles, featuring iconic songs like "Willkommen," "Cabaret," and "Don't Tell Mama". The show, based on John Van Druten's play I Am a Camera, has had several major Broadway versions, each with different songs and arrangements.
