When a young girl and her father living in Old Town Lewisville decide to move from the house where her deceased mother grew up, ghosts from the house’s past emerge, chronicling the city’s past 100 years and beyond.

We will send sides for you to prepare for cold reads.

Performers will receive a $250 stipend with additional payment for any added performances.

Tech will be held Sunday, September 7
Performances: Opening Night / Red Carpet event Friday, September 12, 8:00 PM
Saturday September 13: 3:00 PM matinee, 8:00 PM evening show
Sunday, September 14 - 3:00 PM matinee
Friday, September 19 - 8:00 PM
Saturday, September 20: 3:00 PM matinee, 8:00 PM evening show
Sunday, September 21: 3:00 PM matinee
Additional dates may be added the following weekend, September 26 & 27. You would be compensated additionally for these performances.

Black Female-presenting. Hopeful, imaginative. A young girl who is moving out of Ackerman House.
John 40s - 50s
Any ethnicity. Male-presenting. Abby’s father and widower to her mom, Grace. Kind, but overwhelmed by the move and heartbroken by the loss of his wife.
Dennis 40s - 50s
Any ethnicity. Male-presenting. Kind and good-natured. Father of the family moving into Ackerman House.
Marisa 40s - 50s
Any ethnicity. Female-presenting. Level-headed and empathetic. Mother of the family moving into Ackerman House.
Izzy 13 - 17
Any ethnicity. Female-presenting. Dennis and Marisa’s daughter moving into Ackerman House.
Eleanor 20 - 30s
Any ethnicity. Female-presenting. Joe’s fiance and first owner of Ackerman House in the late 1800s. Her pioneering spirit is dampened by her move away from home.
Joe 20s - 30s
Any ethnicity. Male-presenting. An idealist and trailblazer. Eleanor’s fiance and first owner of Ackerman House in the late 1800s.
Susan 30s - 70s
Any ethnicity. Female-presenting. A placater looking out for her job. Hired Help for Mary and Collin in the late 1910s.
Mary Late 30s - 50s
Any ethnicity. Female-presenting. Grounded, a realist. Owner of Ackerman House in the early 1900s.
Collin Late 30s - 50s
Any ethnicity. Male-presenting. Nonconfrontational. Knows how to roll with the punches. Mary’s husband and owner of Ackerman House in the early 1900s.
Hal 9 - 15
Any ethnicity. Male-presenting. A contrarian. Likes to be in the know. Son of Angela and Henry, owners of Ackerman House in the 1930s.
Amber 8 - 12
Any ethnicity. Female-presenting. The youngest sibling. A rule follower. Daughter of Angela and Henry.
Angela 30s - 40s
Any ethnicity. Female-presenting. A real nurturer. Henry’s wife and owner of Ackerman House in the 1930s.
Henry 30s - 40s
Any ethnicity. Male-presenting. A changed man after being held at gunpoint. Angela’s husband and owner of Ackerman House in the 1930s.
Cheryl 14 - 18
Any ethnicity. Female-presenting. Wants to be remarkable. Janine’s friend from school and amateur actress.
Janine 14 - 18
Black Female-presenting. Intelligent, observant, wise beyond her years. Grace’s mother and Abby’s grandmother, living in Ackerman House in the 60s.
Isaac 30 - 40
Black Male-presenting. Janine’s father, as he was in the early 1900s.
